Chateau Migan, Minervois, 2011, widely available, £10

Dark vibrant purple colour. Smokey sweet black fruit aromas and matching savoury flavours. Noticeable tannins but well integrated giving slightly dry finish.

Fabulous BBQ wine.

Try this if you like a bigger red wine; likely to appeal to Shiraz lovers.

Whoops. More wine. Completely forgotten had order these @tekanoestate wines. We were lucky to visit a couple of months ago where they have a breathtaking view from the winery and wines to match. Both Pinot and Chardonnay probably our favourite news wines this trip with fantastic balance of New World richness and Old World elegance. Excellent value for money for the quality and well done @specialistcellars for being hero’s that sell them!!

First of the wines cracked open from our @mtrosawines delivery today. Fabulous Pinot Gris with slightly sweet stone fruit, touch minerality and gorgeous length. Elegantly delicious!

The wine we bought in New Zealand has arrived! Very much looking forward to drinking these awesome @mtrosawines - shame that because of lockdown we can’t have people over to share. Oh well

Deer God these @beavertownbeer beers are going to ruin my golf tomorrow. This is awesome - fruity but with a coconut finish. Unusual but insanely delicious.

The emotional trauma of the @handinhandwimbledon still being closed have ordered in my own beer and this one from @beavertownbeer is feckin awesome. Rich and fruity, like many of the pub patrons.

So feckin ready for a weekend. #dogtired

Another cracking wine from @happyswigging - rich dark fruit, hint of sweetness, white pepper and note of mint in the finish. Rich and smooth, delicious as hell.

Feeling in a bit of a claret mood to go with the rib eyes. This one from @happyswigging is pretty fine. Juicier than an American soap with nice dark fruit and spice on the finish. Yum!
